"The Water in the Ocean", by Nicholas Copyright © 2001, Age 8 Once upon a time there lived a little old man who was a fisherman. Every day he would go out onto the ocean and look for fish. The water in the night was so beautiful because the moon and the sunrise reflected onto the water. But, there was this older, more wrinkly and meaner guy who wanted to take over the world. The first thing he wanted to do was to take away everybody’s favorite place. And where do you think it was? The ocean. So this really old and mean guy took this huge drain and stuck it into the ocean. Now you’d think everybody in the ocean at that time would have probably been instantly killed. But, before the mean guy turned on the huge drain everybody in the ocean saw a big drain in the water. So what do you think they would have done? RAN! When the nice old guy woke up he saw that all the water was gone. So he dialed 9-1-1. When the police got there, the mean, old and clammy guy had already been sucked down the drain.
