"Breath", by J

I have nothing left
You were all I had
and now every breath
is a breath I take
that will only lead
to my lonely fate
You took what I need.
Every breath I take
will be without you
the painful reality
is all to true.
I can't go on
just as you say...
consequences I must pay
for falling too deep
too fast, too soon
into the love I have
that would never bloom.
Now to stop my walking
is darn hard
down the road I thought
would never part.
So I keep walking
down that path
alone, by myself
all 'cause I asked
for too much, too soon
and now it's all gone!
My World, my Love!
Night turns to dawn
and the pain I feel...
is all to true.
Now every breath I will ever take
is a breath without you.
