"Nagging Parents Blues", by Leslie Paige Copyright © 2000, Age 14 My mom came into my room, And saw that it was a mess. She said that I was grounded, So now I am depressed. Now I have to sit here, And think of something to do. I look in my closet, But all I found was,"Guess Who." I got the blues, The Nagging Parents Blues! I looked around for my phone, Just to make one call. But when I finally found it, The plug was out of the wall. So now I am out of a phone, And nothing to do. But then I thought of something, I think i'll listen to some tunes. I played the music so loud, My mom came in agian, And said,"I am not proud!" So then I turned it down. After about ten minutes, My mom came in one last time. She said,"I am sorry that I wined. You can go and play now, Oh by the way, have a good time." I had the blues, The Nagging Parents Blues!
