"Abusive Pain", by Danielle Marie

I viewed him
I saw her
The light was dim
I recognized it all
I knew his name
I understood the rules
But wouldn't play his game
He hurt me
She left me
He didn't know why
She said it was how it had to be
He had left bruises
She had left pieces
A broken heart
sitting in his hands
He wanted to fix it
wipe away the tears
But she wouldn't let him
she had to many fears
He had hit her
She had screamed
The look in her eyes
made it worse then it seemed
He ran to her
She pushed him away
She told him
this is how it had to stay.
