I hear the sound of little voices crying,
But left and right another one's dying.
What am I supposed to do?
Just put on my shoes and run away?
No, I have to stay!
I have to make another baby's heart pump,
If I don't they'll end up in the dump.
I want to make them smile,
And when I do,
I'll know that I did succeed!!!
