"I'll Remember You", by Sarah Ann S. Copyright © May, 2000, Age 17
Lying on my pillow, driving myself insane
Wiping away my tears, washing away the pain
Trying not to cry, trying to stay strong
thought I'll be alright; but once again I'm wrong
Reaching out for your hand but you dont reach for me
Left here by myself; left to be lonely
Need you by my side need you to hold me close
Seems like the only time I lose you is when I need you the most
Now we dont talk we dont have a word to say
it kills me that we dont acknowledge each other any day
Now its all different I hate it being like this
I can still remember the first time you embraced me with your kiss
I'm trying not to cry trying to maintain
living only for you never again will I love in vain
I wish you were still mine I wish I could hold you
I wish we never walked away my love for you forever would be true
But I cannot turn back the past I can't force you to be mine
but boy you best believe I'll Remember you throughout ALL TIME
