Below you'll find both our Public & Member Forum Rules & Guidelines:
- All posts and links in the Writer's Area forums must be family-friendly. No discussion of, or links to websites that contain the following: Profanity, adult or abusive language,
sexual or pornographic material, cyber-stalking, personal attacks, religious or political information; sites engaging in illegal activity, racism, etc. These posts will be removed immediately.
- Our Public Forums can be read by anyone accessing our website, and our Member's Forums are available to all of our Members. To be safe, please remember not to give out any personal information (name, phone number, email address, etc.). Please read SSO's Internet Safety Guide to learn more about online safety.
- For Internet safety, we encourage everyone who registers in our Forum to keep their email address private, especially children. If you leave your email address open for others to see, you are leaving yourself open to unwanted emails. Please proceed with caution.
- We believe that everyone has something to contribute to our community. Please be respectful of one another, allow for differences in opinions, and please don't make anyone feel that they cannot post their views in our Forums. We encourage friendly participation from everyone!
- Commercial postings and other business websites are currently not allowed in our Forums. We may at a later time choose to create a category for this purpose. For now, please refrain from mentioning any business or sell your items in our Forums....they will be removed immediately.
- Please be sure to locate the best category to post your message in. If we find your message to be better placed in a different category, we retain the right to move it.
- Please do not post duplicate messages...they will be removed.
- If these rules are not followed, you will be allowed one warning before being banned from our forums.
- Please obey copyright laws! All material found at Writer's Area is copyrighted by it's owners. Please respect the law and do not copy any work unless you have written permission from it's owner. The same goes for our Forums...any writings found in our Forums belong to it's original owner.
