A star is such a majestic thing,
Perched up in the sky.
No one knows what it could be thinking,
Or whether it is a girl or a guy.
It shines its light down on Earth,
Reminding us that it is there.
Watching every move we make,
And breathing the same air.
It brings mankind romance,
A sense of comfort and love.
It brings us some direction,
Some faith from up above.
I love the nighttime starry skies,
They are always so peaceful and bright.
They give me a warm feeling inside,
They let me know everything is going to be alright.
