In repetition you lead me
Your people, they’re hungry
They listen and believe
So they might continue on
Your camera is a blindfold
Leaving lies left untold
Lies only innocent bystanders behold
But whatever if its sold
The child is left screaming
The elder is left pleading
But hey you got your shot
For the 6 o’clock block
Those who live in shock
Unaided and forgot
But in Scarsdale there is peace
In Bel Air there’s a feast
But in an alley a girl cries
For those who still have eyes
To stand up for what is true
AND TESTIFY

This poem was inspired by my favorite band, "Rage Against the Machine"
