"Bird Love", by Tish Allen Copyright © 1999
Confusing as this is,
hope my kiss can rectify the lack of part time bliss.
Each hour, each second, each minute and each day of my life
I drown deep in us.
You took my icy freeze and thawed it with the warmth of your smile.
I would soon learn that was just a scratch on a surface
yet to be formed.
You give a privacy that everyone should know,
never wonder cause I know.
I'm praying, dreaming, living and thinking I found a cure to
all that ales my heart in you.
Of a million questions unanswered,
you are all the answer that I could ever need.
You are my discovered pot of Gold.
Sideways, upside-down, ceiling or on the ground
with every breath I drown in us.
I'll be patient for my slaughter, it's like I never ever doubted me.
Like I'm almost close to diggin me.
Each night of my life baby, do me till I'm done.
Do me till up comes the sun and the moon goes back where it's from.
Closer to you dear is how I must be.
See, you caused my calling, sent me falling, you made what I was missing all mine.
You are the source of each melody that plays me,
you go on as if not aware.
But I know that you know that you pull me like gravity.
So have your way with my soul.
Give me a liquid kiss in lieu of part time bliss.
Are you love trying to save me?
Teach me about me, show me all that I need to know.
