God gave me a child one day,
and then reached down and took her away.
I could not understand how He,
could do such a terrible thing to me.

The question kept running through my mind,
why has my God been so unkind.
I turned my back on him that day,
because he took my child away.

I started down life's path unknown,
thinking I was all alone.
My burdens more than I could bare,
when I heard a voice say I still care.

And all of a sudden I felt as though,
someone had taken the heavy load.

The child was born before her time,
and would have been crippled,
would have been blind.

So GOD took her and made her whole and complete,
An angel with silver clouds at her feet.

And He sent to me with his Blessings above,
Eight other children,
to mother and love.

Written in memory of my daughter Debbie.
