"My Nickname", by Denise Martin Copyright © 2000, Age 41 I've been known as "Sisface" most of my life, from my brothers and their spouses, to their friends and their wives. I rarely use my real name when I'm around my family, cause if someone says, "Hey Denise", I say are you talking to me? While growing up, I was simply "Sis" Sketer and Gred added "face" and from that day on my nickname "Sisface" has since remained in place. I've had that name for 24 years and though I've shed many tears what makes me happy about the name, is that no one else has the same!
