The beautiful white unicorn, silver dust, and gold horn as it's crowning glory. We think of fairies and legends Princes and princesses White knights and castles Billowy clouds in the sky Places where whishes come true and everything is magical The unicorn captures us and takes us to another place and time A special place, a wonderful place, a safe place. Watch the firefly on a summer's eve, Flitting amongst the trees and meadows It reminds us of our childhood It reminds us of nights gone by and nights to come We ran after them, caught them, put them in a jar Laugh! We had a night-light, though Daddy said they would soon die Without their freedom We were just kids, we were excited The firefly was magic!
