"You Are a Dream", by Bleu Copyright © 1998 You are a dream that has captured my heart, an endless reverie from the very start. A vapour which completely envelopes my soul, melding fragments of my being, making me whole. You are the chains that allow me to be free, an anchor of love whose tethers loose me; Challenging me to explore all facets of self, remnants of prior daydreams upon a dusty shelf. You are the mirror that permits me to see the woman I know I am, and want to be; A lady of strength, courage and vision never balking in light of difficult decisions. One whose heart brims with compassion, yet flares with intensity and fervid passion. One who's not afraid to give herself completely to one whom she trusts, reveres and loves sweetly. You are bright sunshine that has fully awakened my desires which I thought had long been taken by nightmarish ghosts of expectations and fears, afraid to touch magic should it come near. You are my rainbow set in the heavens above, a spectrum of color, of light and of love; Ever sending a message of hope and promise of brighter tomorrows, n'er what may besiege us. You are the song whose melodies are overflowing as the joy which wells inside me is ever growing. My mind, heart and soul you penetrate and sear while competently calming my every fear. You are the balance I desperately seek, my strength and valor when I am weak. We are yin and yang, in perfect harmony, excellence and beauty achieved in symmetry. You are the dream that has captured my heart. I feel you so strongly, even when we are apart; Bringing me strength, encouragement and laughter and hope that this feeling will endure ever after.
