"Silence", by Jeff Holbrook

to hear your voice and silence too
Throughout the day you're on my mind
Close my eyes but never blind
I slip away to daytime dreams
Another world it surely seems
I see your smile and I shine mine
and hear your giggles floating by
Feel the rush pump through my veins
it feels so warm and hides all pains
A ringing phone or calling "hey"
I hear it now...slips me back to day
I'm so refreshed, I knew it would
A thought of you..it feels so good
